Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Organizes a Training Course on Preparing Legal Opinions and Official Correspondence

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, the Legal Division at the College organized a training course entitled:

“Preparation of Legal Opinions and Official Correspondence.”

The course lasted for five days, with one session held daily. It aimed to develop participants’ skills in drafting official correspondence and preparing legal and administrative opinions according to approved professional standards. The course covered various topics, including the definition of official correspondence and legal opinions, methods of legal and administrative drafting, the methodology of preparing legal opinions, and differentiating between requests, grievances, complaints, and memos. It also included practical training on the final formatting of official documents to ensure their accuracy and compliance with formal standards. The course concluded with a practical application and comprehensive evaluation, which demonstrated a clear improvement in the participants’ abilities to prepare accurate official letters and legal opinions that enhance administrative efficiency within institutions.
