Participation of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shakir, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the College, in the Conference of the Iraqi Diabetes Association.

Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Khudair, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Iraqi Society of Diabetes and Endocrinology, along with Lecturer Dr. Jalal Abdul Ali Al-Ta’i, participated in the Best of ADA 2025 Conference organized by the Iraqi Society of Diabetes in collaboration with the American Diabetes Association. The conference was held in the capital, Baghdad, and featured scientific lectures highlighting key topics presented at the recent ADA 2025 Annual Meeting. It showcased the latest advances and research in diabetes technology, diagnostic approaches, and treatment of its various complications, as well as updates in the fields of obesity and lipid disorders. The Iraqi scientific participation in this international event reflected the spirit of openness and academic engagement with the most recent global advancements in diabetes and endocrinology.
