**Training Workshop on the Use of Ultrasound in Gynecological Examination and Pregnancy Monitoring at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine**

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University (Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael), the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology organized a workshop as part of the Continuing Medical Education Program, titled:

“Ultrasound Applications in Gynecological Examination and Pregnancy Monitoring”

The workshop was attended by a number of practicing physicians and senior residents. It was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Enas Thamer and Dr. Sahar Hassan Mushtat. The workshop covered various aspects related to the practical applications of ultrasound in gynecological clinics. It emphasized that the ultrasound device is considered a fundamental tool in clinical gynecological examinations, much like a blood pressure monitor. The importance of relying on ultrasound reports written by specialists in the field was also stressed, to ensure diagnostic accuracy and precision.

This workshop is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills of medical staff and support continuous medical education.
