**The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University Receives the World Health Organization Representative to Enhance Scientific and Academic Cooperation**
As part of strengthening scientific and academic partnerships, the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University received the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Iraq, Dr. Jameela Al-Raabi, accompanied by a delegation from the Organization, during an official visit to the College. The visit included a meeting with the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, the Vice Deans, and a select group of faculty members. During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was delivered highlighting the College’s achievements, academic standing, and its scientific and educational activities. The visit also featured a field tour of the College to review its facilities, laboratories, and the educational and research services it provides, reflecting the scientific and academic environment enjoyed by the College.
At the conclusion of the visit, ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation and partnership between the World Health Organization and the College of Medicine were discussed, particularly in the fields of scientific research and public health, in a manner that contributes to supporting the development of medical education, serving the community, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
