The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Guidance Lecture for First-Year Students

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, and within the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, a guidance lecture was held for first-year students on Sunday, 21/12/2025. The lecture was delivered by the Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen, with the participation of Unit member Lecturer Lamyaa Hadi. The lecture included an introduction to the University Psychological Counseling Unit and its role in supporting students and addressing the problems they may face during their academic journey. It also highlighted the Student Disciplinary Law and the instructions and regulations it includes, which organize the student’s conduct within the educational institution and contribute to providing a disciplined and motivating academic environment.

At the conclusion of the lecture, students were encouraged to adhere to university regulations and instructions, focus on their academic and scientific pursuits, and avoid anything that might hinder the educational process, in order to achieve their academic goals and enhance their scientific success.
