Participation of Faculty Members and Postgraduate Students from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the First Medical Conference of Al-Sibtain University

As part of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and supporting research and development efforts in the medical field, a group of faculty members and postgraduate students from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, College of Medicine / Al-Nahrain University, participated in the First Medical Conference of Al-Sibtain (Peace Be Upon Them) University for Medical Sciences, held in the holy city of Karbala from October 25 to 27, 2025. The Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Estabraq Abdul Rasool Al-Wasity, also took part in the conference as a scientific reviewer within the Scientific Committee (Review Panel Committee) for Short Communication Session 4: Curriculum Leadership and Ethics Members Section, which was titled:

 “Ethical Leadership at the Core of Curriculum Reform.”

This participation reflects the ongoing efforts of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University to strengthen its scientific presence and contribute to the advancement of medical education and academic research in Iraq.
