02 September 2025

Association of 13-Hydroxyoctadecadienoic acids 15-Lipoxygenase-1 and Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor PPAR with PPAR alpha Gene SNPs rs1800206 in a Sample of Iraqi Patients with Acute Coronary  Syndrome.”

The study included 180 participants, divided into 90 patients (subdivided into three groups: unstable angina, myocardial infarction with or without ST elevation) and 90 healthy controls. Participants underwent clinical and laboratory evaluations, including ECG, troponin, CK-MB, and hs-CRP, as well as biomarker measurements using ELISA and genetic analysis using high-resolution melting PCR (HRM-PCR).

The study recommended further research to confirm these findings and explore the potential of these biomarkers for early diagnosis and intervention.
