Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University Participates in the Scientific Forum of the Ministry of Higher Education in Commemoration of the Martyrdom of Martyr Al-Sadr and His Two Sons

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Professor Dr. Anees Khalil Nael, Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the scientific forum organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the occasion of the annual commemoration of the martyrdom of the religious authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq Al-Sadr and his two sons (may Allah's mercy be upon them). The forum was held under the title:

“The Role of the Religious Seminary in Overcoming the Obstacles of Societal Reform.”

The event was attended by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, along with a number of college deans, faculty members, and university staff, as part of engaging with intellectual and reformist issues in alignment with the academic and societal mission of the university. The forum included a keynote lecture delivered by Sheikh Hussein Al-Taei, in which he reviewed the key features of the reformist project of the martyred religious authority and his efforts in confronting social and intellectual challenges. He emphasized the role of the religious seminary in promoting the values of justice, equality, and anti-corruption. Participants praised the intellectual and scholarly content presented during the forum, highlighting the importance of recalling the legacy of the martyred scholar and drawing inspiration from his values to enhance societal awareness and strengthen national identity.
