Participation of a Faculty Member from Al-Nahrain College of Medicine in the Fourth Cardiology Conference in Baghdad
Assistant Professor Dr. Rafid Basheer Al-Tawil, a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, participated in the Fourth Cardiology Conference held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Baghdad on Friday, November 29. During the conference, Dr. Rafid delivered a lecture on rare genetic heart diseases, highlighting their clinical significance and the importance of increasing medical awareness about them. His presentation was part of a series of scientific lectures that covered the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and recent developments in this field. The conference witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of cardiologists from across Iraq, in addition to experts from the United States and the United Kingdom, who provided updated scientific insights on evolving therapies and recent research findings. At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Rafid was honored with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his scientific contribution and his role in enriching the conference sessions.
