Visit of the international expert from Imperial College London, **Professor Dr. Salman Al-Rawaf**, to Al-Nahrain College of Medicine to enhance scientific and academic collaboration.

The Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, received Professor Dr. Salman Al-Rawaf, international expert, faculty member at Imperial College London, President of the Arab Public Health Association, and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre. The meeting was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, several heads of scientific departments, and the head of the examination committee. During the visit, discussions focused on ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation, develop public health programs, and support educational initiatives that contribute to improving the level of students and medical staff. On this occasion, the Dean, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, presented the college’s shield to Professor Al-Rawaf as a token of appreciation and gratitude for his outstanding efforts and continuous support in advancing medical education and strengthening collaboration between academic institutions inside and outside Iraq. The visit also included a field tour accompanied by the Dean, which covered lecture halls and several college facilities. Professor Al-Rawaf was briefed on the progress of the educational process and met with a group of students, praising their efforts in learning and research. This visit comes within the framework of enhancing academic partnerships with global health institutions and supporting Al-Nahrain College of Medicine’s pursuit of scientific and research excellence.
