**Delegation of the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine to Evaluate the Endocrinology and Diabetes Center in Dhi Qar**

Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Al-Zaydi, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, was officially delegated in his capacity as Chairman of the Scientific Committee supervising the Endocrinology and Diabetes program at the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations to the Specialized Center for Endocrinology and Diabetes in Dhi Qar Governorate, for the purpose of accrediting it as a training center for the subspecialty program. The committee was received by the Dean of the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University, the Director General of the Dhi Qar Health Directorate, along with a number of faculty members from the College of Medicine and the specialized center. The committee conducted a field inspection of the center, reviewing its workflow, service and educational environment, and available capabilities, to ensure that they meet the scientific and training accreditation requirements approved by the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations.
