Assistant Lecturer Nihal Ramadan presented a scientific research paper titled:
The study investigated the therapeutic effects of the terpenes fraction extracted from Iraqi chickpeas on blood lipid levels, liver enzyme activity, oxidative stress markers (MDA, GSH), and histopathological changes in the liver and aorta of laboratory-induced hyperlipidemic mice. The results demonstrated significant improvement in the studied parameters, opening new avenues for the use of plant extracts in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
