**Board Research Discussion in the Department of Family and Community Medicine on Community Knowledge and Behaviors Regarding Stroke**

The board research discussion of student Raed Kahei, specializing in Community Medicine, was held in the hall of the Family and Community Medicine Department on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025. His research is entitled:

"Knowledge and Behaviors of a Sample from the Community Regarding the Risks and Complications of Stroke."

The discussion committee consisted of the following members:

  1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mithaq Hassan – Community Medicine – Chair

  2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Lama Kareem Mohammed – Community Medicine – Member

  3. Consultant Dr. Lamia – Family Medicine – Member

  4. Prof. Dr. Ali Abd Ali Al-Saadi – Supervisor

The research addressed the importance of raising community awareness about the risk factors leading to stroke and methods of prevention, due to its vital role in promoting public health and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
