Expatriate Physician Holds a Seminar in Al-Nahrain College of Medicine about Surgery of Colon and Rectum …. M

Under the auspices of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Professor  Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, the Surgery Branch hosted a surgeon, Professor. Dr, Alaa Ameen Habba, who is working at London Hospital, West Hertfordshire, to held a seminar entitled "Cancer and Colon Surgery", on Wednesday, 23/3/2015.

At the beginning of the seminar, the Dean and college professors welcomed the guest professor and he presented his lecture which dealt with the latest developments of colon and cancer surgery in terms of many axes including:

Coloproctectomy of patients of colon and rectum cancer.

Preparation of medical multi-specialities teams to deal with patients of cancer

Presentation of the mechanism of clinical examinations at the colleges of Medicine in UK.

The Surgery Branch professors and the teaching staff members of Al-Imamain Al-Kathimain (PBUT) participated in the seminar, as well as the students of the fourth and sixth stages.

After that, they exchanged opinions and queries about this disease to benefit from the information given by Professor Dr. Alaa Ameen that he gained during his residency in UK, and to get the latest information of science and medicine in the modern world.

At the end of the seminar, the Head of Surgery Branch, Assis. Professor Dr. Mohammed Yasser Hamandi, on behalf of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine presented the shield of the college to Professor Dr. Alaa Amin as a gratitude for his efforts in conveying invaluable information through his precious lecture in cancer and colon surgery.
