Conclusion of the Student Project Activities Under the Patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University

Under the generous patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, the final session of the student-led project “Awareness Circle” for the academic year 2024–2025 was held in one of the college’s lecture halls. The “Awareness Circle” project is a self-initiated student endeavor aimed at exchanging ideas on books, novels, historical figures, cultural topics, and personal student experiences—outside the medical framework—in an effort to break academic monotony and broaden students’ intellectual horizons. The discussion session hosted a distinguished group of faculty members from the college:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen

• Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Kareem Mohammed

The session was moderated by the students:

1. Youssef Hassan Hadi

2. Sajad Abdulaziz

3. Furqan Abdulqader

The discussion covered a range of diverse topics, such as the concept of the “anti-role model,” logical fallacies, and the unexpected effects of social media. It was marked by rich interaction and valuable discussions between students and faculty.

This initiative is part of a broader series of activities aimed at promoting awareness and general culture, developing students’ personalities, and enhancing positive communication between students and their instructors.
