A Training Programme in Collaboration with Stanfor University

Al-Nahrain College of Medicine carries out a training program with collaboration of Stanford University to train elite of professors in internal medicine speciality,general and specialized surgery, paediatrics and gynaecology and obstetrics interms of developments of medical education and clinical training and teaching methods.

The program includes practical training and lectures presented by Assis.  Professor Dr. Amal Sweidan certified by Stanford University in the United States, and with this, Al-Nahrain College of Medicine became the first in Iraq and the third in the whole Arab Homeland that implements thisglobal program.This program was implemented in Europe (Germany & Sweden), and in Asia (Japan and China) inaddition to the United States. The program lasts seven weeks, two hours perweek in order not to contradict with duties and commitments of professors'participation.

Inconclusion, Al-Nahrain College of Medicine declares its willingness to share this program with those professors of all Iraqi Colleges of medicine.
