Participation of a Faculty Member from the Department of Internal Medicine in a Scientific Conference on the Risks of Obesity

Assistant Professor Dr. Rafid Bashir Al-Taweel, a faculty member from the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, participated in a specialized scientific conference that addressed the risks associated with the relationship between obesity, heart diseases, and diabetes, as well as health awareness strategies and modern treatments in this field. The conference was held at Babylon Hotel on 12/12/2025, with the participation of a distinguished group of consultants from various medical specialties related to the topic of obesity. The conference witnessed wide attendance by a large number of physicians and consultants from different medical disciplines, during which scientific expertise was exchanged and the latest research and therapeutic updates related to the prevention of obesity and its health complications were discussed.
