Educational Guidance and Psychiatry Unit meets the expatriate students …………. Media Unit

Under the auspices of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, and with the presence of the assistant dean, for scientific and students affairs, Prof Dr. Farqad Bader Hamdan, the administrator of educational guidance in university presidency, L. Dr. Nahidh

Mousa Tilfah and the, of Educational Guidance and Psychiatry Unit in AL-Nahrain College of Medicine as a supervisor, Assis. Prof. Dr. Uday Khalid, the Educational Guidance and Psychiatry Unit held a meeting with the emigrant students from the hot areas on Wednesday, 24/1/2014.

At the beginning of the meeting, the professors presented a welcome speech to expatriate students and listened to problems they faced due to urgent conditions by which Iraq was hit including terrorism, dislodgment and killing that negatively reflected on the community in general and students in particular. The students also displayed their problem of non-acceptance of students Boarding House to ease entering the final exams of th e first semester, considering no mid-term exam and the final mark should be out of 100, and for time shortage that may affect their scientific level in the future. The other problem was that the balance of the materials of the curriculum among colleges, and the difficulty of getting official documents from their original universities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, professors (lecturers) presented some solutions and healthy strategies necessary to adapt with the current circumstances through which they pass and urged them to exert more efforts to complete their scientific march which will be as weapon to conquer terrorism.
