Duties of the Laboratory Accreditation Unit: An administrative unit of the division of quality assurance and performance evaluation, concerned with the pursuance of the application of national standards (good laboratory practices GLP) and up to international standards for the quality of laboratories to obtain the certificate of accreditation in addition to the coding program of laboratory equipment for the supervision and scientific evaluation in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
