Abstract

pregnancy induced hypertension (preeclampsia) induce changes in placental vasculature that increase as pregnancy progress these changes include an increase in vascular generations and reduction in vasular sectional area at terminal villi, these associated with thickining in vascular wall, fibrin deposition , these changes are reflected on newborn body weight of mothers with preeclampsia compared to normal mothers.
