Background: The most common neoplasms of the urinary bladder are papillary tumors that vary histologically and cytologically from very well differentiated to highly anaplastic patterns. The purpose of the study was to determine the histopathologic characteristics of papillary urothelial lesions of the urinary bladder and their correlation to age, sex, clinical presentation, size, grade, pathological stage, single or multiple, primary or recurrent. Methods: This is a retrospective study carried out on 100 cases reported from January 2019 to September 2021 in department of pathology, Baghdad Medical City /Baghdad /Iraq. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS. Variables included: age group, gender, site, size, grade and pathological stage.
