First Human Anatomy department meeting for the new academic year 2015-2016

On Tuesday morning September22, 2015, the Human Anatomy department held its first meeting for the academic year 2015-2016, with the participation of all the faculty members, technicians and administrators in the department.
The meeting commenced with a welcome speech by the new head of the department Assist Prof. Dr. Muthana Abdul Amir Abdul Latif and moderator of the department Assist. Lect. Dr. Sarmad Imad Mohammed.
During this first meeting; directives & recommendations of the Medical College council for the new academic year were reviewed. Outlines of the policy of the department were highlighted for this academic year for undergraduate studies. A number of proposals to regulate the administrative work in the department were discussed with the senior members of the department. Additionally, It was agreed to hold monthly meetings between the head of the department and the three sections in the department (human anatomy, histology and embryology and medical biological) in order to overcome emerging obstacles facing academic work in the department and follow-up of accomplishments and milestones achievement for all the members of the department.
