Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Achieves First Place in the Annual Evaluation of University Student Activities for the Academic Year 2025–2026

The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University achieved a distinguished accomplishment by securing first place in the annual evaluation of university student activities for the academic year 2025–2026 at the university level. This achievement came as a result of its active and outstanding participation in various student activities.
The Student Activities Division at the college participated in numerous sports, cultural, artistic, and scientific events held at the level of Iraqi universities, Al-Nahrain University, and the College of Medicine. The total number of activities reached 27 diverse student events, reflecting the distinguished presence of the college’s students and their creative talents across different fields.
In addition, the college’s students participated in seven student teams representing Al-Nahrain University in Iraqi university championships, achieving honorable and effective participation that demonstrated the spirit of cooperation, belonging, and excellence.
On this occasion, the Head of the Student Activities Division, Professor Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, for his continuous support of student activities and his commitment to providing a suitable environment that contributes to developing students’ abilities and refining their talents.
This achievement is considered the result of the efforts exerted by the College Deanship, the Student Activities Division, and the dear students. It also reflects the college’s commitment to achieving a balance between academic excellence and creativity in extracurricular activities, contributing to the preparation of an aware and ambitious generation capable of innovation and active participation in various fields.
