Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Secures Second Place in the University Badminton Championship
Al-Nahrain College of Medicine secured second place in the University Badminton Championship organized by Al-Nahrain University as part of the annual program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of the Department of Student Activities, for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
The College’s Student Activities Division participated in the championship, which witnessed broad participation and intense competition among students from several university colleges, including Medicine, Science, Political Science, Information Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Economics, Law, and Engineering.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, Head of the Student Activities Division at the College, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, for his continuous support of student activities in the artistic, sports, and cultural fields. He also commended the Dean’s commitment to encouraging student participation in university events, thereby contributing to the development of students’ talents, the refinement of their creative abilities, and the strengthening of their presence in university forums.
