Participation of the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, in the Clinical Meeting of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Board

The Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shakir, participated in the Clinical Meeting of the Adult Endocrinology and Diabetes Board Specialty, held at the National Diabetes Treatment and Research Center at Al-Mustansiriyah University.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shakir delivered a scientific lecture addressing sexual hormonal complications in patients with diabetes mellitus, highlighting the major clinical aspects associated with these complications, as well as approaches to their diagnosis and management. The lecture contributed to enhancing the medical knowledge of physicians and resident doctors specializing in endocrinology and diabetes.

This participation comes as part of efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation among medical and educational institutions and to exchange specialized expertise and knowledge, contributing to the development of clinical practices and the advancement of healthcare provided to patients with diabetes in Iraq.
