Dean of the College of Medicine Inspects the Progress of Final Clinical Examinations for Sixth-Year Students
The Dean of the College of Medicine / Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, conducted an inspection tour to review the progress of the final clinical examinations for sixth-year students for the academic year 2025–2026. The examinations were held at Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City and within the college premises as part of the graduation requirements for obtaining the Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery.
The tour covered examinations in the departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics. During the visit, the Dean monitored the organization of the examinations, the smooth performance of students, and the provision of all necessary requirements to ensure the success of the examination process in accordance with approved academic standards.
The examinations included several modern clinical assessment methods, such as the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), Oral Examinations, and the evaluation of clinical skills and patient management. These assessment tools contribute to a comprehensive measurement of students’ theoretical knowledge and practical competencies.
During the tour, the Dean emphasized the College’s commitment to providing a rigorous examination environment that ensures the highest standards of quality in student assessment and reflects the advanced academic level achieved by the College in preparing and qualifying future physicians to practice their profession with competence and responsibility.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Dean commended the efforts of the examination committees, academic staff, and supporting personnel at both the College and Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City. He also wished the students continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers.
