Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Organizes an Awareness Lecture on Water Conservation

Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, and as part of the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, the college organized an educational awareness lecture on April 26, 2026. The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Thanaa Hindi Saleh, a member of the unit, under the title: 

“Do Not Waste Water – Preserve Life.”

The lecture aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of water as a fundamental element of life and to highlight the necessity of preserving it by adopting proper daily usage behaviors and reducing waste through rational consumption. It also included a set of practical guidelines that contribute to promoting a culture of water conservation within the university environment and beyond.

This activity comes the ongoing efforts of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine to support awareness initiatives that strengthen social responsibility and promote sustainability concepts among students and academic staff.
