Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Faculty Member Participates in a Master’s Thesis Defense at the University of Karbala

Assistant Professor Dr. Nisreen Ahmed Nasser, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, participated as a member of the examination committee for a Master’s thesis in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala. The thesis investigated metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in Iraqi patients.

The thesis was entitled:

“The Diagnostic Role of the Serum Fibroblast Growth Factor 21-to-Adiponectin Ratio in Detecting Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease in Iraqi Patients.”

This participation reflects the active scientific contributions of the academic staff of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University and highlights their role in strengthening academic collaboration and promoting the exchange of scientific expertise among Iraqi universities.
