Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Welcomes a Scientific Delegation from the College of Science at Al-Mustansiriyah University

Al-Nahrain College of Medicine welcomed a scientific delegation on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, comprising a group of faculty members and fourth-year students from the Department of Biology (evening studies) at the College of Science, Al-Mustansiriyah University. The visit included a scientific tour of the laboratories of the Department of Microbiology and the Medical Research Unit at the college.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the modern laboratory equipment used in scientific research and medical applications. They also learned about the scientific and research services provided by the Medical Research Unit and the Department of Microbiology, which contribute to supporting the academic development of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Specialist faculty members provided detailed explanations of the operating principles of the laboratory equipment and its applications in medical and research fields. This experience aimed to strengthen the students’ practical knowledge, broaden their scientific understanding, and familiarize them with recent advances in laboratory technologies and scientific research.

This visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific communication among academic institutions and promote the exchange of scientific knowledge, expertise, and laboratory experience. Such initiatives contribute to enhancing the educational and research environment and advancing academic progress across Iraqi universities.
