College of Medicine Organizes a Training Course on Soft Skills in Developing Academic Work

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, organized a training course entitled:
“Soft Skills and Their Role in Developing Academic Work”
The course featured the participation of the Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the college, Professor Dr. Istabraq Abdulrasool, who delivered a lecture entitled:
“Developing Soft Skills in the Work Environment”
In her lecture, she discussed the importance of developing personal skills and their role in enhancing academic performance, building successful professional relationships, and solving problems within the workplace.
In addition, the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, Assistant Professor Haifa Radi, delivered a lecture entitled:
“Decision-Making and Crisis Management in the Work Environment”
She emphasized the importance of dealing with crises consciously and rationally, and making sound decisions At the conclusion of the course, the floor was opened for discussion and interventions from the college’s faculty members and students.
