Awareness Initiative to Rationalize Water Consumption at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. (Anis Khalil Nayel), and as part of the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Unit aimed at promoting environmental awareness, the unit implemented an awareness initiative on rationalizing water consumption. As part of this initiative, Dr. Sahar Hassan Mushtat, a member of the unit, designed, printed, and distributed an informational brochure addressing the importance of water conservation and methods for reducing its consumption. The brochures were distributed to students and staff of the college on Thursday, April 30, 2026, with the participation of a number of students. This initiative comes the college’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of sustainable development and to reinforce awareness of the importance of preserving water resources as one of the fundamental elements of life.
