Al-Kadhimain (AS) Hospital Receives International ISO Award

The Ministry of Health in Baghdad, Karkh held a ceremony to celebrate the achievement of Al-Kadhimain (AS) Hospital, which received the German ISO 9001-2008 Award. The Minister of Health, Dr Adilah Mahmoud, attended the ceremony, as did the Dean of the faculty, Professor Alaa Ghani Hussain, which took place at Al-Kadhimain (AS) Hospital on Sunday 14/06/2015. There were a number of attendees from the Ministry of Health, Baghdad Provincial Council, Quality Assessment Committee from the Ministry of Health, the Mayor of Al-Kadhimia, Ministry of Education of Karkh 3, and Al-Kadhimain (AS) Hospital. The ceremony comprised of speeches by various attendees, and screening of a video explaining how the hospital received the ISO Award. Professor Alaa Ghani Hussain, Dean of the faculty, was honoured with the special shield for the gathering. The ceremony concluded by honouring the members of the quality committee at the teaching hospital with certificates of achievement.
