Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Secures Second Place in the University Basketball Championship

Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine achieved second place in the University Basketball Championship, organized by Al-Nahrain University as part of the annual program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, and under the supervision of the Student Activities Department for the academic year 2025–2026 (second semester). The Student Activities Unit at the college participated in the, which witnessed strong competition among students from various colleges of the university, including Medicine, Science, Political Science, Information Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Economics, Law, and Engineering.
This achievement was made possible through the outstanding performance and perseverance of the college’s students throughout the matches in their pursuit of the championship title. The College of Medicine team was represented by the following students:

On this occasion, the Head of the Student Activities Unit at the college, Professor Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, for his continuous support of student artistic, sports, and cultural activities, and for his commitment to enhancing student participation in university events in a way that contributes to developing their talents, refining their creative abilities, and strengthening their presence in academic forums.
