Distinguished Research Participation by an Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Graduate at ICOPH 2026

As part of the distinguished academic participation of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University in the 12th International Conference on Public Health (ICOPH 2026), held in Bali, Indonesia, from August 5–7, 2026, Dr. Rusal Abdul Hussein Sajil, a graduate of the College of Medicine, Class of 2026, participated with her graduation research entitled:

Computed Tomography Findings in Traumatic Head Injury and Their Association with Clinical Symptoms at Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq: A Cross-sectional Study (January–March 2026).

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between computed tomography (CT) findings in traumatic head injuries and the clinical symptoms of patients presenting to Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital in Baghdad, contributing to greater diagnostic accuracy and improved clinical decision-making in the management of head injuries.

The research was conducted under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Ola Hamad Salah, representing the outcome of the scientific and research efforts that the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University is committed to fostering among its students, while encouraging their participation in international scientific forums and conferences.

This participation reflects the distinguished academic level of the College’s graduates and their commitment to contributing to scientific knowledge and representing Al-Nahrain University at international conferences, thereby strengthening its academic and research presence at both regional and international levels.
