03 March 2026

Assistant Professor Dr. Enas Thamer participated as a member of the PhD thesis defense committee for the candidate Dr. Wafaa Abdul Kareem, whose dissertation was entitled:
“Evaluation of Combining the Stop GnRH Agonist with Step-Up Letrozole Priming and Multiple-Dose GnRH Antagonist Protocol on ICSI Outcome in Poor Responder Females.”

The defense took place at the High Institute for Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies on 2/3/2026.
The dissertation evaluated the integration of ovulation stimulation protocols using a GnRH agonist with letrozole priming and a multiple-dose GnRH antagonist regimen, and their impact on intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) outcomes in poor responder females. The study aimed to improve pregnancy rates and enhance the efficiency of assisted reproduction programs.
Dr. Enas Thamer also participated on 1/3/2026 in the defense of the Master’s thesis presented by the candidate Russul Dakhel Kadhim, entitled:
“The Impact of E Cadherin Uvomorulin Levels on Oocyte Maturation and Embryo Quality in Infertile Women Undergoing ICSI.”

The thesis investigated the role of E-Cadherin protein levels in oocyte maturation and embryo quality among women undergoing ICSI and examined their correlation with clinical success rates.
This participation reflects the active academic engagement of Assistant Professor Dr. Enas Thamer in postgraduate committees and her continuous support for scientific research in the field of reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technologies, thereby strengthening academic rigor and fostering scientific collaboration among specialized institutions.
