College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University Successfully Concludes ATLS Course

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, and as part of the activities of the Department of Surgery, the ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Course was held in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons. The course was conducted according to the 11th edition guidelines at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, from February 6 to 7, 2026.

The course witnessed the participation of 10 trainees from various Iraqi governorates. The training was supervised by the international instructor Dr. Waleed Othman Abu Jalalah. Participants received intensive theoretical and practical training in accordance with internationally approved standards.

All trainees successfully completed the course, reflecting the College’s distinguished academic and organizational standards and its commitment to developing the skills of medical staff and advancing medical education and training in Iraq.
