A New Academic Achievement for Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine: Faculty Member and Resident Doctors Secure Top Ranks in the Iraqi Board Competitive Examination

In a new academic achievement that adds to the distinguished record of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, three resident doctors from the college secured first place in the competitive examination of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations. This accomplishment once again reflects the college's outstanding academic standards and the excellence of its teaching staff.

In addition, Lecturer Dr. Aws Sabah Ghani, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, achieved first place in Cardiac Electrophysiology (Subspecialty Fellowship), adding another milestone to the college's growing list of achievements in postgraduate medical education and specialized training.

According to the examination results:

  • Dr. Zahraa Alaa Ghani Hussein ranked first in Psychiatry.

  • Dr. Ibrahim Luay Sayehood ranked first in Neurology.

  • Dr. Sajjad Hussein Maktoof ranked first in Adult Respiratory Medicine (Direct Entry Track).

Furthermore, several graduates of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University achieved distinguished rankings across various medical specialties, reflecting the college's strong academic foundation and the high quality of its educational outcomes.
