Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Holds the 11th ATLS Course

The College of Medicine at University of Al-Nahrain organized the 11th course of the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) program, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Anis Khalil Nayel, as part of the activities of the Department of Surgery, and in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons, for the period from February 14 to 16, 2026.

The course witnessed the participation of 12 trainees from various Iraqi governorates and included intensive theoretical and practical training on the latest methods for assessing and managing emergency trauma cases in accordance with internationally approved standards.

The course concluded with all participants successfully fulfilling the program requirements, reflecting the advanced scientific and organizational standards that the College is keen to establish in its training programs, as well as its continuous commitment to enhancing the efficiency of medical staff and improving the quality of medical education and clinical training.
