Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Organizes Two Awareness Lectures to Promote Water Conservation Culture
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, and as part of the college’s commitment to spreading a culture of water conservation and enhancing community awareness of the importance of preserving this vital resource, the University Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine organized two awareness lectures. The first lecture, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Rusul Hamid Hassan, was titled:
“Water Consumption Rationalization”,
where she highlighted the importance of optimal water use and the necessity of adopting proper Water handling behaviors. The second lecture was titled:
“Water is Life—Do Not Waste It Even If You Are by a Flowing River"
and was delivered by Professor Dr. Thanaa Rashid Abdul Rahman. She emphasized the individual and societal roles in preserving water resources and reinforcing positive habits that help reduce waste.
Both lectures witnessed active engagement from the audience, with emphasis placed on the importance of continuing such awareness activities that contribute to strengthening environmental responsibility among students and the wider community.
