Field Visit by Al-Nahrain Medical Students to Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College organized a field visit for a number of students to Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation in Al-Kadhimiya. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the foundation’s key activities and programs in caring for and supporting orphans and underprivileged individuals.

This visit aligns with the College’s vision of strengthening engagement with various segments of society and promoting the values of social responsibility among students. It also reflects the College’s support for the Foundation as an active partner in humanitarian work, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to supporting orphans and vulnerable groups and alleviating poverty.

It is worth noting that the Foundation is officially registered as a non-governmental organization and operates with formal approvals, receiving support and patronage from the religious authority. The “Ayn Al-Nahrain” orphan sponsorship initiative, launched by students of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, continues under the supervision and endorsement of the College Deanship, reaffirming the College’s commitment to its humanitarian and community role.
