Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Holds Its First Meeting for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, held its first departmental council meeting for the 2026–2027 academic year on Sunday, September 13, 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Astabraq Abdul Rasool Al-Wasiti, Head of the Department, and attended by members of the Departmental Council.

The Head of the Department opened the meeting by welcoming the council members and emphasizing the importance of cooperation and teamwork in advancing scientific and academic performance and enhancing the quality of the educational process.

The meeting included discussions on the necessary preparations for the start of the new academic year and the provision of the scientific and academic requirements for the courses. It also addressed the organization and distribution of teaching duties and assignments among faculty members, ensuring the smooth conduct of the educational process and the achievement of the intended learning outcomes.
