Pediatrics Branch Conducts the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for Sixth-Year Students
The Pediatrics Branch at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, conducted the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for sixth-year students on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as part of the clinical assessment requirements for the academic year 2026–2027.
The examination comprised a number of clinical stations designed to assess students’ skills in managing various clinical conditions, as well as their communication and medical counseling skills and their knowledge of medications and medical equipment used in clinical practice in the field of pediatrics.
The examination was conducted under the supervision of professors and faculty members of the Pediatrics Branch, with the participation of specialist physicians from Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City. It was organized in accordance with procedures that ensured accuracy, objectivity, and fairness in assessing students’ clinical competence, in alignment with modern assessment methods adopted in medical education.
