Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Wins First Place in the University Table Tennis Championship

Al-Nahrain College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University secured first place in the University Table Tennis Championship, organized by Al-Nahrain University as part of the annual program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Directorate of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.

The College’s Student Activities Division participated in the championship, which witnessed strong competition among students from several university colleges, including Medicine, Science, Political Science, Information Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Economics, Law, and Engineering.

The College achieved first place through the outstanding performance of its participating students:

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, Head of the College’s Student Activities Division, expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, for his continued support of student activities in the arts, sports, and culture. He also commended the Dean’s commitment to promoting student participation in university events, thereby contributing to the development of students’ talents, the refinement of their creative abilities, and the strengthening of their presence in university forums and extracurricular activities.
