Al-Nahrain Medicine Wins First Place in University Photography Competition

The College of Medicine at University of Al-Nahrain secured first place in the University Photography Competition organized by the university as part of the annual program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department for the academic year 2025–2026 (second semester).
The Student Activities Unit of the College participated in the competition, which witnessed wide participation and strong competition among students from various colleges, including Medicine, Science, Political Science, Information Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Economics, Law, and Engineering.
The first-place achievement came through the outstanding performance of the College’s students: Yaqeen Diaa, Taha Ziyad, Mohammed Baqir, and Amir Thamer, according to the decision of the competition’s judging committee.
On this occasion, the Head of the Student Activities Unit at the College, Professor Dr. Salman Ali Hassan, extended his appreciation and gratitude to the Dean of the College of Medicine at University of Al-Nahrain, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, for his continuous support of artistic, sports, and cultural student activities, and for his commitment to enhancing student participation in university events in a way that develops their talents, refines their creative abilities, and strengthens their presence in academic forums.
The College Deanship affirms its continued support for extracurricular activities and student initiatives, contributing to the development of an aware and ambitious generation capable of creativity and active participation in various fields.
