**Fire Extinguisher Maintenance and Supply Campaign at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University**

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, and with follow-up by Mr. Ahmed Reda Turki, Head of the Civil Defense Unit, the college's Civil Defense Unit carried out a comprehensive campaign for the maintenance and supply of fire extinguishers. This campaign comes in line with the directives of the General Directorate of Civil Defense and coincides with the rise in temperatures. The campaign aimed to enhance safety within the college by servicing fire extinguishers and redistributing them across corridors, laboratories, and rooms, in addition to equipping the college with various modern extinguishers. The new supplies included:

• 134 powder extinguishers (6 kg capacity)

• 41 foam extinguishers

• 61 CO₂ extinguishers

• 21 roll cabinets

• 178 powder extinguishers for electrical boards

• 288 ceiling-mounted spherical extinguishers

The College Dean affirmed the institution's commitment to implementing safety standards and continuously updating protective systems. He also praised the efforts of the Civil Defense Unit in efficiently executing the campaign, emphasizing the importance of collective cooperation in achieving a safe environment.
