Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Organizes an Awareness Lecture on University Students’ Mental Health
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, and as part of the activities of the College’s University Psychological Counseling Unit, Prof. Dr. Thanaa Rasheed, a member of the Unit, delivered an awareness lecture entitled:
“Mental Health of University Students”
The lecture introduced the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College and highlighted its role in providing psychological support and guidance to students. It also addressed the concept of mental health and its importance in university life, emphasizing its effective role in enhancing self-confidence and improving academic performance.
The lecture aimed to promote a supportive university environment that fosters students’ mental well-being and contributes to their academic achievement and excellence.
