Medical Students Involved in Educational Counseling at Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Organize an Awareness Activity on Breast Cancer and the Importance of Early Detection

As part of its efforts to promote health awareness and disseminate health education within the community, students involved in educational counseling at Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine organized an awareness activity on breast cancer and the importance of early detection, under the supervision of two academic staff members from the Human Anatomy Branch: Assistant Lecturers Heba Ahmed Abdul-Sattar and Noor Kadhim Jawad.

The activity included providing a range of educational information and health guidance to raise awareness of the risk factors associated with breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of regular screening, early detection, and seeking consultation at specialized healthcare institutions. It also highlighted the role of healthy nutrition and sound lifestyle practices in promoting health and disease prevention.

This activity is part of Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine's ongoing efforts to instill a sense of social responsibility among students and foster their active role in disseminating health education and enhancing community awareness, thereby contributing to community service and improving public health literacy.
