Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Hosts the Tenth Session of the University Council

The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University hosted the tenth session of the University Council, chaired by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, with the attendance of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, the Director General of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, and the deans of the university’s colleges, members of the University Council.

During the session, a number of topics listed on the agenda were addressed, along with discussions of issues related to academic and administrative affairs and the progress of university work, contributing to the development of performance and the enhancement of the educational and research environment at the university.

The University President emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to advance the scientific and academic process and strengthen cooperation and coordination among the university’s colleges and departments, in line with Al-Nahrain University’s commitment to achieving excellence and enhancing the quality of its scientific and educational outcomes.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anees K. Nile, welcomed the University President and members of the University Council, expressing his appreciation for holding the Council’s session at the College of Medicine and affirming the College’s commitment to supporting the university’s progress and actively contributing to the implementation of its academic and scientific directions and plans.
