Library Departments and Units

Library Departments and Units The library consists of three main units providing various services to beneficiaries: Beneficiary Services Unit It specializes in providing library and information services to all faculty members, medical staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students, and college affiliates because it contains a collection of scientific and medical knowledge resources by providing necessary information that benefits them in research and study through providing services (mentioned in the Information Services paragraph).

Beneficiary Services Unit

Beneficiary Services Unit It specializes in providing library and information services to all faculty members, medical staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students, and college affiliates because it contains a collection of scientific and medical knowledge resources by providing necessary information that benefits them in research and study through providing services (mentioned in the Information Services paragraph).

Free Education Unit

Free Education Unit It includes all curriculum books distributed to faculty members and postgraduate and undergraduate students, with annual updates of old editions.

Cataloging and Classification Unit

Cataloging and Classification Unit This unit provides indirect service to the beneficiary, and this service relates to all technical procedures of supplying the library with books, periodicals, reports, theses and dissertations, undergraduate research projects, and other documents along with a special library for electronic discs of books, research, theses, and periodicals. And organizing them through cataloging and classification with building a manual card index in addition to entering their data into the automated index according to the Excel program and then including it in the library website.
