Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine / University of Al-Nahrain Prof. Dr. (Alaa Ghani Hussein) , the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Nahrain hosted discussion of the fellowship of the Iraqi Council for Medical Specialties (general surgery specialization) on the date of 18/3/2019 in the presence of professors of the department of general surgery and professors from the Faculty of Medicine / University of Baghdad as well as doctors consultants from Medical City, City of Imam Al-Kadhimin Medical, resident doctors,postgraduate students and parents of students discussants. Five fellowships PhD were discussed for the General Surgery specialization and the results of the evaluation were very good and the theses are of high quality which include surgical endoscopic and non-endoscopic .
